An interesting read written by the American artist/writer Sue Favinger Smith. A book about becoming an artist late in life. She was 50 when she started out on the path of being an artist, a path that many of us here are also on.
Now Mary Queen of shops bangs on about supporting your local high street, my last remaining [chain] book-store finally agreed to begrudgingly place an order and now go away for six weeks...I kid you not.
A quick email to the author and the Kindle version was released into the UK @ £5.96 via this link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006FL9IG0 and 48hours later I started to read it. The high street we once endorsed deserves to die.
This writer has managed to put those thoughts I have about being a late returner to the world of the artist down in a very readable way too.
