On my 3rd coat of 50/50 gloss and matt varnish ,bubbles have appeared as the varnish dried. The areas where I spotted bubbles when the varnish was wet and removed, have now dried as indentations in the varnish. Where do I go from here? The painting has to be finished by Friday, for an exhibition.
