In addition Duncan Titmarsh amazing display of custom made LEGO® Models will be opening on the same day in the Sainsbury's Gallery: Danebury Hill fort, a Roman feast (on a full sized LEGO table), a Giant size Sedan Chair, the Floating Bridge from Southampton and Portchester Castle. Lego Sets will be on sale in the museum shop. Car:from the north take J6 of the M3, the A33 south of Reading and from the south take J7 of the M3. Follow signs for Town Centre and brown signs to The Top of Town. Parking is available in several surface car parks or in Festival Place shopping centre. Satnav or route planning, the postcode is RG21 7QD. Train: the museum is within walking distance of Basingstoke station. Follow signs for Festival Place Shopping Centre, walk through Festival Place and out of the south exit into Wote Street. Walk up the hill and the museum is in the town’s historic Market Place. Bike: Basingstoke has an extensive cycle network. The nearest cycle parking is in Church Street (by the Library), Church Street (opposite St. Michael’s Church), and Wote Street (by Halifax and the Wote Street Club). Bus: Basingstoke town centre bus station is a ten minute walk away through Festival Place shopping centre, walk out of the south exit into Wote Street. Walk up the hill and The Willis Museum is in the town’s historic Market Place. On foot: Once in the town centre, walk out of the south exit into Wote Street.
