Rydal Hall, Cumbria - Expressive mixed media art break with international award winning professional artist Robert Dutton

A stunning location situated in 34 acres of woodland, Rydal Hall (once the home of the Le Fleming family before being sold to the Diocese of Carlisle in the 1960s) offers inspiration all around for our exciting mixed media residential art break. Working in a variety of media, we will also be working outdoors along the shores of Grasmere lake creating sketches and direct landscape studies to later use for our studio mixed media paintings - fantastic! The course is suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their creative techniques as well as for the more advanced artist wanting to loosen up their style.
