A 5 day course with renowned watercolour artist Paul Riley. This course focuses on the reflective nature of water and it's focal point in the landscape. Attention is also paid to the rendering of boats and their elusive perspective. The nature of the course is to follow the stream flowing through Coombe farm via the creek and the village of Dittisham and culminating at the sea at Blackpool sands close to Dartmouth so students will be spending plenty of time out in the stunning South Devon landscape. Paul founded Coombe Farm Studios over 25 years ago and is lead tutor. He has published many instructional books and regularly writes in the arts press. This creative break is a unique combination of artistic development and relaxation with plenty of inspiration from the surrounding landscape.
