The James Hockey & Foyer Galleries University for the Creative Arts Faulkner Road, Farnham, GU9 7DS 17 – 25 April 2014 9.30am - 5pm Farnham Art Society's prestigious Annual Exhibition each Spring has long since been attended by many well known artists including David Shepherd, our President. The James Hockey Gallery at the University for the Creative Arts is a superb and well situated venue to display the best work from our amateur and professional painters, sculptors and ceramicists. Over 4000 visit our annual exhibition each year, admission is free and parking nearby.

The Farnham Art Society has gained an impressive reputation for the high standard and range of work by both amateur and professional artists. Work by exhibiting members is selected by a panel of professionals to go on show, and exhibited at very reasonable prices giving you a great opportunity to snap up unique affordable art. Held in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and its Galleries, the exhibition is the result of a grand collaborative effort. With around 4,000 visitors every year, it celebrates the enduring partnership between ‘town and gown’ in Farnham and is testimony to the longstanding community links UCA has through its Galleries. Approaching its 67th anniversary the Farnham Art Society exhibition aims to reflect the vitality and diverse ambitions of today's artists in its membership and to be open to the fast changing influences of contemporary arts. The partnership in the Annual Exhibition remains as important as ever to achieving these aims.
