Chichester Open Studios Art Trail 2013 Five Days in May 4th, 5th, 6th & 11th, 12th Open to the public from 10.30 am until 5.30 pm Over 140 artists and craftspeople will be opening their studios for you to visit. All around our beautiful area extending from the City out to Compton, Charlton, Eartham, Slindon, Lavant, West Dean, Yapton, Ford, Middleton-on-Sea, Hunston, Bracklesham, The Witterings, Birdham, Bosham, Southbourne and places in between. You have the opportunity to see artists displaying and creating their work. There will be painters, printmakers, potters, weavers, photographers, jewellers, sculptors, textile artists, stained-glass workers, all showing their work, and available to answer any questions you may have about their techniques, their inspiration? and processes. This is always a hugely enjoyable event for both artists and visitors. Last years trail welcomed some 4,000 visitors. Guides with maps and information on all contributing artists will be available from the middle of April and can be picked up at many central locations including The Oxmarket Centre of Arts where there will be a “Preview Exhibition” of the work of all artists on the trail, from April 16th until 28th.
