Aston Martin Centenary in Paint

Aston Martin Centenary in Paint

A unique collection of paintings by James Hart Dyke celebrates Aston Martin's Centenary Year.

In a special collaboration, Aston Martin has partnered with celebrated artist James Hart Dyke to capture in paint its centenary celebrations this year. The Aston Martin Centenary Art Exhibition, presenting these new works, will be held at the Aston Martin W-One Gallery, Park Lane from 22-29 November (Private View 21 November). Since the age of eight, Hart Dyke’s work has centred on naturalistic landscapes. However, projects within the last seven years have allowed Hart Dyke to experiment with other forms of painting – this is evident when looking at the work he produced as ‘artist in residence’ for The British Secret Intelligence Service MI6 and when he worked with the producers of the James Bond films. The merging of traditional and experimental forms of painting makes him the perfect candidate to depict Aston Martin in their centenary year – whilst the cars are classic and definitively British, Aston Martin continues to develop their offering to remain at the forefront of contemporary changes within the automotive industry. A spokesman for Aston Martin said: “This unrivalled collection of images by James Hart Dyke captures, uniquely, the spirit of the brand in this, our very special centenary year.” All works will be on sale at the exhibition, ranging in price from £1,000 to £25,000. For further sales enquiries please contact the James Hart Dyke Aston Martin Exhibition on 020 7127 0729. @jameshartdyke Limited edition prints will also be available through TWENTY & NINE via jameshartdyke.com from 15 November and are priced at under £1000. @TWENTYANDNINE Exhibition Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 12-4pm.
