Art in Action

Art in Action is a feast for the soul and the senses As one of the longest running art and craft festivals in the UK, it brings together hundreds of artists in a vast array of artistic disciplines offering beauty, inspiration and creativity. This year it runs from Thursday 15 July to Sunday 18 of July 2010.

Highlights at Art in Action 2010


Photographer Nick Fleming will give lectures on his extensive experience photographing spiritual communities

Jan Jefferson, who broadcasts and writes about the Amish people will be giving talks on Amish Quilts and the Amish way of life and history

The Ceramic artists will be examining and discussing where inspiration comes from and how it’s translated into artistic form

The One Oak Project will be resident in the Woodwork marquee. Three demonstrators will use wood from the same tree

The International Art marquee will welcome Bruce Rogers, a Didgeridoo artist from Australia who is a master of the instrument
