Had visitors yesterday and took them to Patchings hoping to see a fine array of paintings in the gallery but when we got there it was full of photographs and there wasn't a painting to be found. We were rather disappointed, to say the least. -- Regarding our local Heritage Centre. Nothing's happened yet but the University of Nottingham, department of English are fully behind us and are helping with advice. Meeting up with them next week, we hope, for more information. Things like this and other arts related stuff are keeping me busy. I'm adding a sample, quick demo of a pen & wash exercise used in a recent lesson for the Arts Group it took about 30 minutes.
