Yesterday morning (Saturday the 13th of October 2007) I walked ten miles cross country, in mud, slippery grass, roads that were so greasy I thought someone had tried to sabbotage the event! And not to mention RAIN! *groans*. Anyway, all this just added to the delicious torture and I came charging back to 'base' in a rather fine 3 hours and 10 minutes. I have no idea where I am placed - but I suspect somewhere near the top ten (out of 93 walkers) and I am just hugely proud of myself for completing it at all :o)
