Well, after having had six paintings framed for exhibition this week at the Harrogate Art Show, I am now replacing TWO of them with safer landscapes. This is because two of the works are nudes and are considered in poor taste. Of course, I should have thought about it. This exhibition is at St Peter's Church BUT my paintings were already on the show's main webpage. And it's an 'arty' exhibition. Or so I thought. I guess the organisers got it wrong and did not specify. Really I should know better. But hey, I am Damien Hirst now. I have the power to shock! Roll on the Press. Is there a debate here about the Nude and Art then?
