The Ashes...Yippee

First I must send my apologies to my fellow Australian Katie-Jane but England has just won the Ashes back...I'm stoked...I have lived in Australia since 1971 but just can't support Australia in cricket neither can Hubby...Flintoff now retires and I'm deeply in love with James Anderson...What a lovely day it was too...the sun shone brightly as I hope it did for all of you back in Blighty...as you can gather no painting done tonight...SMS's flying back and forth from UK form Nephew in Kendall and friend in female Friend in Sunderland who is as mad about Test Cricket as we are...I'll have to recharge my phone tomorrow I think...off to class tomorrow with a big grin on my face because most Australians are cricket mad...what has this to do with art as I always ask when I post one of these blogs...what game can run for five days with players out in the middle for hours at a time in all conditions except rain...the champagne is squirting and a paper shower is flowing and blowing...surely all of that makes a work of art only if it's the colour paper at the end...and who wouldn't love to paint that handsome face of Andrew Flintoff...now there's a Tenor out in the middle singing Jerusalem...what an ending...the playful tail of a Humpback Whale frolicking which happens of the coasts of Australia on an annual basis
