Thank you all for your comments on my work in progress...I blotted out a lot of the foreground I didn't like it and I thought if I got the trees in I would have a measuring stick to the rest of the painting...the foreground I'm leaving to last...it has some oranges, almost whites and some pale violet shadows along with a bit of careful splattering...hopefully the next time I post it should be a finished painting...I've been careful with it but let lose on Monday night and thought I got carried away with the lovely bright green ink...that's a first for me calling green lovely...but now with all of the help I have had I shall leave the green and carry on with the rest of it. Thanks Sylvia for the scientific information on Amaryllis Belladonna isn't such a bad thing to have in the garden could come in handy.
