With the bearable cold early spring weather I quietly set up to paint in oil this beautiful brick lane homes on Fengxian St & Beijing West Rd, in Shanghai. No space for my #soltekeasel so I had a small H-frame easel on my lap. It's was a very quiet Sunday afternoon ....until 4pm when people and children started heading out to play and curious about my painting. Birds whistling all over...a quiet .plein air ambience of this metropolis.
