A few of us (14) just had a "masterclass" with one of the UK and Yorkshires greatest watercolourist, Over awed by the way he paints and the resulting images. Could almost be tempted to give up!!!!! But seriously his critique focused on my use of Cotman student colours and Bockingford paper. I struggle with greens in general and foliage in particular. So have just ordered a range of greens including Terre Verte and a pad of Arches Not paper. I must find shorthand for tree shapes and parctice, practice, practice, til then Ill stick to cars, boats and aeroplanes or trees in autumn in the distance.
