I have been involved in most aspects of The Creative Arts for many years. First as a student at 'Sidcup School of Art' studying Commercial Art. Then employed as a photographic retoucher & illustrator for a London based Design Studio, followed on working free lance for several years - in between studying life drawing at night school. I then became involved in portraiture for a time gaining several commissions specializing in pastel work. In the early 90s I moved to Spain where I started to explore my interest in Flora & Fauna- this was an exciting period exploiting all the media possible for my work - by now I was retired so could paint what I loved most. This lead to several exhibitions of my paintings which sold quite well. Now I am back in the UK I am based in Hampshire & work from my studio. I now find the use of acrylics suit me best as they can be manipulated in so many ways for different effects - perfect for my varied style of work.
