Oh Yes! January sales got the better of me, but in my case I always head to the nearest artshop to spend all my dosh. Looking around, I thought that there wasn't much left that I needed to buy, as I've been painting a rather long time and have inherited all my childrens art stuff too. Well! The OIl Pastels started to beckon to me. (that's what I told my husband) I have not touched them for twenty odd years. In fact I gave my old stock away. Ah ha! that means there is a space to fill in my art supplies and I bought some. Getting home I was eager to use them, and that's when I started to growl ! They are hard to blend with fingers. The paper sticks blend them fairly well and turps helps a little too, but I do feel that I'm missing the point with them. Please, please somebody explain where I am going wrong or I will be growling all the way through 2012. Happy New Year everybody :)
