Had a lovely Sunday at The Dutch House, Crayke, near York - sketching with my Rotring pen and some watercolour whilst eating lovely pancakes in the courtyard cafe. Not great drawings, but hey, who cares? Have an exhibition on at this place - it's really an art centre, with gorgeous food and lovely plants and gardens. It's called The Dutch House because it's run by a Dutch couple, Cecile and Sjaak. They called their son York, because they love Yorkshire so much. Cecile is an artist and teaches workshops. Sjaak teaches about growing and gardening. Worth a visit if you're ever in North Yorkshire.
