There was a fundraising concert at the Barnsley Civic last week in aid of the Haiti Appeal. Artists at our art group were asked if they would donate a painting for auction for the appeal. I wanted to clear some of my past work to make room for this years work, so I framed some up I had stored and took them in. Hubby and I went to the concert and enjoyed rock, pop, jazz and a little crooning. What a brilliant night! My paintings made £80 and I was really pleased..............and I have more space at home. What an idea to have a regular event like this...........saves storing or tearing up your old work!!
