Went to the Royal Cambrian Art Gallery in Conwy last week. ( well worth a visit if you are on holiday there). I had a day with a lady called Catrin Williams ( worth a google). She set up a great still life with musical instruments and literally whiz zed us through various techniques and methods, mostly I had done them in the dim and distant past. We worked hard and people produced some nice work. It made me have a fresh slant on my own work, I do think we sometimes become set in our ways and lazy in our methods. It propelled me out of comfort zone , and it was good to meet all new people . A good day out.
