The area around Wittringen Watercastle is just wonderful to supply motifs for my paintings. The colour of the trees in autumn reflecting in the moat offer particularly attractive views. Usually I go hunting for the best scene with my camera to paint back home in my studio. I found that suits me best because it takes hours to paint in all the details.
