EVERYTHING'S COMING UP LABURNUM.

Went to Bodnant gardens on Monday. They have this wonderful Laburnum arch, I think it is the bigest and oldest in the world. Anyhow, with all the lovely weather we have just had it was just about as perfect as it could be. The gardens are just lovely. If you are in my neck of the woods do try and go there. It was full of golden oldies, including me. I also did a quick water colour looking through the trees, dark, dark conifers and fresh gold ,green, deciduous trees with dappled sunshine... I might add that the result will not be on my gallery. I also dug the first early spuds from the garden, very tiny at the moment but oh did they taste good. Lambs across the road are now surly teenagers, well grown out of their plastic raincoats. If sheep smoked , you could imagine them leaning against the tree with ciggy in hoof, watching all the ewes go by.
