Days are short in the U.K. if you think of daylight....and I do ! How I just long for more sun,so when it is out..so am I ! Walked the dog today,and thought of colour,you see the sky is a bit of this mixed with a bit of that....and so on. But I had treated myself to a candle making kit...and today,when the rain came,I melted down all the old candles we had in the house,poured them into moulds.they smell great..and will make great christmas presents..along with the bulbs I grew earlier...It made me wonder,how many artists give thier work away as Christmas gifts to relatives ? I have also loaded my pottery kiln today..a firing tomorrow..some could be gifts..but I dont ever give away pictures..do you...? So distracted yet again.No painting,but I did keep away from the dreaded shops......
