I have - at last - just finished an acrylic which, if I can stand to, I shall post shortly. I have thrown everything at it - I try normally to keep detail down to a minimum, not to worry over every leaf and blade of grass, but this time I thought, "let's play" - and it was fun. Whether it's the slightest good or not, is another matter. But I thought, having written about fiddling last time, that it would be highly therapeutic to fiddle away like Paganini. But I may perhaps wait until I have a more painterly offering, and post the two together. It could just be utterly awful - you'll soon know. I am starting an independent blog, to link to my website - if the genius who manages it for me has made the link, it should be there already (at www.isleofwightlandscapes.net). You'd think I would know; you'd think I would have looked - there has to be a reason why I procrastinate so, but it would take a better self-psychologist than I am to work it out. So this is by way of saying there is news to come, and I hope that when I have the blog up and running regularly, you'll all come and visit. Tell you what; I'll even post a link on here - once I've remembered what I called it.... Getting old? Oh yes......
