This is my first blog, although I have uploaded quite a few paintings to the Gallery. I retired 18 months ago, and took up art again. I go to a weekly art class and on the 12 July 2015, we had our first every exhibition titled NEW BEGINNINGS. Our art teacher runs three classes, and for this exhibition, all three classes contributed. It was amazing and well attended and just so much fun. For many of us, it was the first time we have ever let people see our art (other than other classmates and family). I think it is something every artist, old or young, established, or just setting out, should aspire too. It will be an annual event
