Ron Scott Sippel was born in 1965 in Brooklyn, New York. From 1983 - 1986 he studied at The School of Visual Arts in NYC, New York. Due to financial reasons he transferred to Brooklyn College in Brooklyn , NY.; where he received a BFA; in 1988; in drawing and painting. After working as a silk screener and Jewelry design assistant; he returned to Brooklyn College and received his MFA in Studio Art in 1994. He worked in custom carpentry and participated in many group and solo shows in NYC. From 1998- 2004 he taught Studio Art for The NYC Department of Education; and showed works on the side. In 2003 after an illness; he became disabled; yet continues painting. This group of works presented on Painters Online, Gallery were all produced from 2018- 2022. He continues painting; employing various styles to suit his changing content and mood. He believes in Art as a way of life; and that its' production, for the artist; is a becessary, biological function.
