A few years ago I was visiting my youngest daughter, living in Genk (200 km from Blankenberge). One of her neighbours is a calligraphy-artist and -teacher : Harrie Voet. One day, we had a chat on the pavement and he asked to see some of my work. He liked it and asked if I could agree in a combination of our work: I made the drawings first and then he added the calligraphy on the same paper. On every visit to my daughter, I took some drawings for him and on the next visit, he had finished the calligraphy. So now, we had several exhibitions of our team-work. It seems to be very unusual: two artist working on the same paper, but we are very pleased with the results.
Most of the stress is for him: if he makes a mistake, I have to make the drawing-painting again, but till now, it didn't happen!!!
