I had a great birthday, with lots of calls and visits from everybody. unfortunately it rained - unheard of on my birthday usually - hope it isn't a bad omen for the next 7 years.Thank you for your best wishes. I took in some champagne to my painting class in the evening. I can't say that the paintings were any better, but it was a lot noisier than usual! I must say I love birthdays - all those presents and good wishes - it makes you feel great. Tonight it is our painting club meeting and I haven't done my homework so I am off now to try and produce something at very short notice this afternoon. Hopefully it will turn out better than all the planned paintings. Bye for now Judith
