Ruth Gray

Biography

Ruth Gray is a Derbyshire Artist working in Atelier Interactive Acrylics and Acrylic Inks. Ruth is an Art Demonstrator you can book her for your art group or society. Ruth works to commission and will work with you to create a painting that means something to you. Painting since a child and professionally for almost twenty years, Ruth’s work has been shown in over a hundred exhibitions nationally and internationally and has featured in many magazines. Her paintings depict her love of history and heritage and she regularly runs art workshops for all ages and attends stalls within the Midlands. As well as art Ruth is currently studying an MA in Public History and Heritage at the University of Derby and works as a freelance heritage assistant nationally and volunteers within the World Heritage Site of Derwent Valley Mills. This allows her to visit many new places and spend time in some wonderful venues many who feature in her artwork.
