Biography

Born in the Maldives, Mr. Naushad Waheed began his career as an artist 1976, and has staged various exhibitions nationwide across Maldives and internationally. Mr. Waheed began working professionally as an artist shortly after his school education. His works can be seen at the resorts of Maldives, and at sculpture parks in China. Mr. Waheed has won multiple awards for his works including awards for painting, wood and limestone carving, and the Presidential Award in 1997.
