Biography

Hello and thank you for looking at my gallery. I`ve been an enthusiastic painter and sketcher since childhood, but the passion, enthusiasm - and time - I had in my teens and twenties needed to take a back seat for a couple of decades behind life`s other important stuff. That changed in 2021 and I now have the time to make art my focus. I joined my friendly, local art group where I benefit from the lively exchange of ideas and tackling weekly subjects that I might not normally be drawn to. I also try to sketch something every day to keep up momentum, even if it`s a back-of-a-fag-packet doodle that`s never going to see the light of day. Now I have my Studio membership, I`m really looking forward to being part of Painters Online and seeing the wonderful artwork and tutorials here.
