Ian Ellis

Biography

I have exhibited widely. In 2002 my work was on display in an exhibition entitled ‘Serious Pleasure’ at the prestigious Modigliani Centre, Florence, Italy. Whilst living and teaching in Oxford, I helped curate numerous exhibitions including “Love was on Your Side’, a collection of work by artist Tracey Emin at the Sewell Centre Art Gallery, Radley, Oxfordshire. During a three year postgraduate Diploma in painting at the Royal Academy Schools in London, I was awarded the Landseer Gold medal for painting. My work features in numerous private collections both here in the UK and worldwide.
