Fiona Stevenson

Biography

Fiona is an abstract painter who has gained a reputation for creating work which is sophisticated and always has a clear focused objective in mind as she paints. She has a natural talent and a passion for painting. Her work is bold, full of energy and she uses a brush to tell a story and each painting is full of layers of personal meaning. Her work is in the same territory as Howard Hodgkin. Says Fiona “l am a representational painter, not a painter of appearances”. Or George Rodrigue-colourful brushstrokes based on the myths and legends of his culture. Fiona has exhibited her work in London, New York, Manchester and Hertford.
