My name is Yevhen Chaika / 8 . 8 . 1988 Even small donations will help At that moment, my family and I found ourselves in a predicament that brought us into a financial hole, not only because of the War. I created this fund to raise $12,000 from donations from people who will see sincerity in my art and believe in my life story that started a couple of months ago. https://www.eugenius.foundation/ My daughter is in Germany with refugee status — I had to put her on a train from Ukraine three weeks after the war started. My younger brother lives in Holland. He become a young father 2 months after the War started. At the beginning of this year, I promised to come to Holland to be with their daughter as a babysitter , in that case he and his wife could both work (in the Netherlands there are only 2 months of maternity leave and kindergarten costs about 2.500 euros — the salary of one of them). I love kids and have experience with newborns plus very well in children’s pedagogy. But the War came earlier and now I cannot leave my country because I am a man. So now they looking for a solution. This is my personal tragedy — I promised but didn’t keep my word. To help them somehow my beloved Aleksandra brought them my drawings couple moths ago. We were waiting for a more or less quiet time so that she could go to them. But in Europe they couldn’t find the right people and place. So they did not succeed with the drawings. My mother and older brother take care of a bedridden grandmother in my hometown of Kropyvnytskyi. But every week it’s getting more and more difficult.
