I am a landscape painter based in Stamford. I love to be outdoors, in all weathers, and try to convey the experience to others in paint. I enjoy experimenting with texture and mark making and often work in mixed media.
I am a member of Welland Valley Art Society and exhibit regularly at Stamford Arts Centre. I also take part in Rutland Open Studios and Peterborough Artists Open Studios in June.
My paintings have been selected for a number of national open competitions/exhibitions, including the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours exhibition in London in April 2018.
I am very pleased to have had work selected for exhibition at Patchings this summer in The Artist exhibition, having exhibited there in 2018 too. In 2016 and 2017 I also had work selected for and shown in the Leisure Painter exhibition and I won the Daler-Rowney and Caran D'Ache awards respectively.
