I visit art groups and societies all around the UK and channel islands, running workshops, courses and demonstrations. It is my favourite part of being a full-time artist. I aim to provide thoroughly informative teaching, with the overriding goal of people enjoying themselves. I want people to feel encouraged, enabled and challenged - I believe in giving practical painting advice, then tailoring it to each individual as I get to know them and their painting styles. In demonstrations, I always produce two large finished paintings - I work quickly and engage with the audience throughout the process.
