The Windsor Art Group is a thriving society of local artists who meet regularly to paint and draw. A blend of individuals, each with their own approach to painting, the members are bound together by a common passion for visual expression. We meet in Windsor on a Tuesday evening. The group is a friendly and democratic organisation. An elected committee prepares a regular programme of work that lasts about twelve weeks. The programme includes landscapes, still life and special themed subjects. Members are are normally free to work in a medium of their choice. We work in oils, watercolours, acrylics, mixed media and more. The programme includes at least one life drawing session working from a model. Always popular are demonstrations by visiting professional artists. We all gain from the the inspiration these demonstrations provide.
