The UK coloured pencil society only uses coloured pencils for their paintings and these are beautiful when finished and framed. it is a society that hopes to encourage colored pencils as an artists medium as it's founding bob ebdon plus 5 other like minded artist were determined to do and have achieved. our aim is to carry this message on and in to the future through our 2 exhibitions each year, one based permanently at the pencil museum, keswick and then the main one is usually at a large art gallery. we all, communicate through the forum, swapping ideas and learning from some of the professional artists in our midst. there is several members, who run workshops through the year and informmation for these can be found on the uk coloured pencil society website.

We are pleased to announce our 13th annual open international exhibition, to be held at the 'Royal Birmingham Society of all Artists gallery, 4 Brook st, St Paul's, Birmingham, B3 1SA. Gallery viewing dates are from 28th April till 10th May 2014. Preview will be Sunday 27th april 2014 at (tba)pm and the invites can be obtained from www.ukcps.co.uk. During this showcase of ukcps excelling in high standards of artworks that are all done with coloured pencils. There will be 2 coloured pencil workshops.
