Through regular skill honing sessions every week, the Guild allows artists of all levels to craft and perfect their individual style. Portrait sessions are Monday evenings 7-9 pm and Life Drawing/Painting sessions are Thursday evenings 7-9 pm. There is a charge of £4 per session. Easels and drawing boards provided. Demonstrations and workshops throughout the year, from highly regarded and proficient guest artists, offer our members exposure to techniques and concepts they may not be using yet. Our annual exhibition, in which every member has the right to have at least one piece hung, impresses audiences year after year. Friendly advice, laughter and camaraderie have become trademarks of Stockport Art Guild.
