The Society aims to encourage aviation art in all its forms and has a membership mainly from the North West. Our membership includes beginners, talented amateurs and internationally respected professionals. We meet once a month at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, (MOSI) and through a programme of demonstrations, sketching sessions, personal advice, constructive critiques and competitions we aim to continue to improve the standard of work produced by our members. To further encourage this, all accepted artist members are entitled to display at least one picture on the display in the Aviation Hall at MOSI The display is changed three times a year, a theme is nominated and a challenge trophy awarded to the artist producing the best work. The Society also aims to promote its members work at a variety of other venues.
