Chichester Art Society has upwards of 160 members and welcomes all art enthusiasts from beginners to professionals. We meet twice a month : mainly Thursday evenings but also Wednesday daytimes during the winter. We offer a varied programme to suit all levels : talks, demos, workshops, short courses, Life Drawing and Portrait Groups, also sketching days and gallery visits. Members can use our library of DVDs and books. We make 10 awards throughout the year for work in different media. Our Annual Exhibition and President’s Award in 2012 is at the end of June and is open to all members. We produce a Society Calendar of members’ work. Annual membership is £25.
