The felled Oak

This is beautiful Yvonne, just the the scene you see on countryside walks too. Great detail.

I find this difficult to determine where the tree and it's setting are seperate. Maybe the trunk/bark is too strong in tone compared to the walls and ground. The colours are smashing and composition is excellent.

A charming watercolour and beautifully executed . I love the delicate drawing of the flowers and the sawn off trunk. Surprised this didn't get more comments!
