Beautiful work Walter.

Brrr, looks cold, Walter! I particularly like your composition, it is very clever the way my eye is taken in diagonals across the painting, starting from the line of the foreground shadow down the hill, along the waterfront, through the houses and up the hill in the background.

I prefer this one as the texture of the canvas is less obvious than in the small one and you've had the room to add more interest to the snow in foreground and the sky.

Hi Denise, Caroline and Paul - many thanks for your kind and constructive comments.

Super stuff Walter. So full of atmosphere, and such a lovely palette.

Beautiful view, love all the colours in the water.

This is lovely, I like the little touches of red that draw your eye through the painting.

Hi Seok, Lesley and Paula - very many thanks for your kind words - much appreciated!

I don't know if it gains or loses either Walter for the increase in size not got to the little work yet but this is super looks like a ski resort in Switzerland or somewhere

Many thanks Ros for taking the time to comment - much appreciated

I walk this way most mornings and this is one of my favourite views made extra-special on this particular occasion by the snow. This is a larger version (15x15 inch canvas) of the miniature Littleun No 26 also in this gallery. Not sure if it gains or loses for being bigger.
