What a lovely expression. The eyes and mouth are particularly well done> Is this on NOT rather than rough? I prefer this surface. Amazing what a difference certain papers can make.

Hi Val, Diana and Carole - I thought portraits in watercolour would be really tricky - but its hasn't been quite as bad as I thought it would be - mind you I had a great teacher in Liz Yule - have a look at her website. Best wishes Walter
