So colourful, but how on earth do you paint something this small? I'd need a very strong set of glasses!

I am so enjoying this series, love this busy group of pretty buildings.

Hi Jane and Lesley - many thanks for your comments - these are part of a small local charity exhibition - so far we have sold 6 little originals or prints, hopefully get a few more sales before the exhibition ends at the beginning of July.

Lovely little painting, but I don't think I've got brushes small enough to accomplish anything on this scale; and even if I had, I'd need powerful magnification. Have a care for your eyesight, Walter!

Hi Robert - Many thanks for your kind words - wrt the brushes, I use cheap chisel-shaped brushes from the local hardware store, the smallest is about 4 mm across, so not too tiny really, but by using them end on you can make fairly small marks.

Number 12 in a series of miniature canvases (10x10cm). This is the picturesque village of Pittenweem which hosts a great art festival in early August. All C&Cs very welcome.
