Another lovely loose and free painting. Love the colours and the way you have used the intensity of the colour to show form. The bit below the boat in the foreground is magic.

Just another note - these last two paintings seem to be very different from some of the other work on your gallery. Any reason for this? Are you trying a new style or evolving what you have been doing? Interested to know.

Hi Alina, Jeanette, Thea and Bill - many thanks for your appreciation of this little sketch - it was done at a local art group as a sketch without really thinking about turning it into a proper painting - that may explain the freer handling -however, I was also full to the gills with painkillers for a sore back so maybe that is what I need to take every time I paint!
