thank you everyone for your nice comments. i agree spiders aren't the pleasant of subjuctc but this one was a challenge to paint.

Well thank goodness you've stylized it, because a very accurate rendition of one of these things is enough to have me reduced to the screaming hab-dabs. I can see just enough of it in this to make me realize I have no desire to see any more.

Jon says these spiders are everywhere. My daughter is not impressed as she hates them. I told her a painting of. One wouldn't' do her any harm which resulted in this painting.
