This is just gorgeous Sylvia. My favourite from your gallery .

Beautifully fresh Sylvia. Confident style and approach which I think you get when painting from your own sketches and familiarity of the scene. What’s in the pipeline for your next endeavour?

Gosh Sylvia that’s lovely! I especially like the flowers in the foreground, very delicate and complex.

Lovely work.

Such happy positive comments, thank you for taking the time . 🌻

Those near flowers are especially beautiful Sylvia, with all the little varied touches of colour. It's a joyful painting and no wonder it took a fair time, so much in it.

Goodness Sylvia, such detail and patience gone into this gorgeous piece - but not tight! I'll have a look at these Gerstaeker wooden panels, I've not tried them. I presume that you have to give them a few coats of gesso as I do my MDF panels. I'll have a look on Great Art shortly.

Oooh Sylvia this is absolutely gorgeous! All the flowers are painted so well, especially those in the foreground and that lavender blue is fab.

Marjorie ,Alan and Margaret thanks . Alan the panels come just ready to use all gessoed and smooth ,they are a great surface to paint on . I got three some time ago when I had my prize from Great Art.i know you will enjoy them. And what is good is I have another one left to use.

Nice to see a natural woodland scene in all its glory. Beautiful, Sylvia.

Thanks Sylvia, yes I went on their site and checked them out. They do look very sturdy but at almost 20 quid for my size I'll mull it over. Bear in mind that I generally knock out at least a couple a week, these would be saved for something special, like the open competition.

Absolutely beautiful Sylvia.

Fabulous Sylvia, such an uplifting painting love it.

This is lovely, Sylvia, I especially like the delicate colouring and detail of the foreground flowers.

This is beautiful, Sylvia. Such gorgeous colours and detail. You’ve got a lot of patience.

Oooh Sylvia.this is absolutely gorgeous. Memories of summer, just what we need on a dull January day. I've been looking at this one for some time and the more I look, the more I see. Actually, I wish I was there right now! So many lovely flowers and the addition of the pink in the foreground is perfect. Paintings don't often cheer me up but this one just has! Ps. I didn't have a clue what the jux word meant and had to look it up..I'm non the wiser. lol

Absolutely stunning work, Sylvia - really like the gorgeous palette and the composition. The aerial perspective is beautifully done.
