This is stunning Sylvia! The colours are so fresh and the lilies look as if they are dancing on the water. The format suits to subject too.

Smashing little piece Sylvia in your usual artistic style. I've got a carp pond about a third of an acre and visited twice daily by the neighbourhood Heron who cleans out all the small fry.

A third of an acre ...omg I suppose your carp live i n the middle as Mr Heron wades in from the edge. ...he wiped out about 400 goldfish four years ago . So we are restocking by stealth. I do love my pond and all the wild life it attracts , I thought it was big until you you enlightened me. It's about 40 feet by 20 feet . . Thank you for enjoying my lilies .

Did a sketch book page of these in a themed sketchbook, that one was colour pencil. So decided to paint it onto a canvas as I enjoyed the effect. We have a large pond and it is full of lilies in the summer time we put some new goldfish in last year and hoping that the wicked Heron does not spot these new babies. This is acrylic on a Panorama orientated canvas .
